EXCURSIONS AND ACTIVITIES
Cantabria offers you a variety of excursions and activities depending upon the number of participants and the time available to you. If you have any other ideas, please let us know – we are open to any recommendations – but here are a few of our suggestions, ideal for a couple, with friends, celebrations, birthdays, stag and hen parties, team building or simply to experience something new:

WEEKEND OR OVERNIGHT TRIPS
Exploring Laredo and Castro Urdiales on our eastern side or heading towards San Vicente de la Barquera to the West, we will navigate these noteworthy ports together, spending the night on board. We offer the possibility of navigating alone if you are in possession of the correct licence or, alternatively, we can offer the services of an experienced skipper.

DAY AND HALF-DAY TRIPS
Setting off from our homeport in Santander, we run day trips and half-day trips according to your time requirements. These trips are led by an expert skipper who will guide you around the most characteristic parts of Santander Bay, one of the most beautiful bays in the world. We will anchor up at Magdalena Beach where you can enjoy bathing in clear, blue waters and soak up the unique, relaxing atmosphere with a spectacular view Magdalena Palace. We could also drop anchor at el Puntal, Santa Marina Island, Molinucos Beach or Mataleñas Beach, perfect stops to put the boat into port and take advantage of a day’s sailing. Otherwise, we could travel with the wind in our sails to the lighthouse at Cabo Mayor, where you can contemplate the awe-inspiring views of the beaches that define the coast along Sardinero and the Island.

EXCURSIONS ON THE CANTABRIAN SEA
You can hire our sailing boat to carry out your own, unforgettable excursions across the Cantabrian waters, passing maritime villas that will welcome you with open arms. Here, you can taste the cuisine and take part in innumerable summer fiestas. Resplendent stretches of golden sand that easily equal the beaches of the Caribbean, crystal waters with tones of emerald belying their depths, incredible cliffs rising up around hidden coves and holding up the lighthouses’ signals… you’ll find that the Cantabrian scenery is wholly unique.

Mountains and coast. Cantabria is synonymous with, leisure, relaxation and nature in its purest state. Its natural locations and 200 kilometres of coastline make it one of the richest and most personal destinations of the Spanish peninsular.
Altamira Caves: Considered the “Sistine Chapel” of Palaeolithic art, these caves contain what are probably the most famous prehistoric paintings in the world.
Somo Beach:
One of the best beaches in Cantabria, prolonged by Puntal Beach and Loredo Beach.
If you wish to follow the Way of Saint James on the coastal route, you can stay at our facilities that can be found step-by-step along the northern route, or more precisely along the BERANGA-NOJA-GUEMES-SOMO-SANTANDER stages. Furthermore, if you have a pilgrim passport you will be able to take advantage of a further discount: check with each accommodation option beforehand by telephone and book your place.
